Each of my pieces is always part of a series. After I develop
a concept, I begin to work on the series itself. The beginning phases of my process are filled with intense research,
wild experimentation, horrible failure, and extreme success. During this process I challenge myself to exit my comfort
zone by working with techniques and mediums that are foreign to me. The way I approach my work mirrors my goal as an
artist: to use Art as a tool for communication and not simply as a personal release.
When I first began to create this website, I decided that it should not be only an online portfolio, but a chronological
catalogue of all of my work. By displaying my creative process in order, I hope to share the inner-workings of my artistic
development. You will notice that not only have my methods changed with time, but, as a self-taught artist, also my
technical abilities have improved dramatically throughout the same period. I hope that you enjoy the site!
